A Trio of Vintage Ceramic and Glass Tablewares
A trio of vintage domestic tablewares comprising a reticulated bowl, two glass bowls, and a covered butter dish. The ceramic bowl of circular form features a fluted, wavy rim and pierced reticulated sides, decorated in underglaze blue with floral and foliate motifs and a geometric lattice to the interior. The two stacked bowls are fashioned from white opaque glass, featuring rounded bodies and integral tab handles; one is decorated with a red rose and green leaf transfer, while the other features yellow and orange flowers. Completing the group is a ceramic butter dish with a rectangular base and a domed cover, featuring a whimsical illustration of a tomato and a vegetable character. No maker’s marks are clearly discernible.
