A Framed Commemorative Print of St. George’s Hospital 1733-1983
A framed commemorative print depicting St. George’s Hospital, marking the dates 1733 to 1983. The image is a topographical architectural study in a late 18th-century style, showing the neoclassical building, formerly known as Lanesborough House, set behind a field with figures and grazing deer. The print is mounted within a light grey mat which bears the printed title and dates centred below the image. The work is housed in a gold-toned, fluted wooden frame. The reverse is finished with a hardboard backing and a hanging wire.
Condition report:
The print and frame are in good overall condition. The reverse shows signs of age and handling consistent with its age.
