A Collection of Oriental Style Figurines and Crystal Ornaments on a Circular Wooden Stand
An assortment of decorative miniature figurines and curiosities presented on a circular dark wood moon gate style display stand. The stand features asymmetric shelving and a shaped pedestal base. Included in the collection are three porcelain figures decorated with blue and white glazes and polychrome enamels; two of these figures bear blue four-character marks to the underside transcribed as 道光年製 (Dào Guāng Nián Zhì), translating to Made in the reign of Daoguang. The group further contains several composition figures depicting seated characters in varying colours, including a red robed figure and a dark toned Buddha. The faceted crystal and glass components include animal figurines such as a hedgehog, an owl with inset yellow eyes, and a camel with silver toned metal legs, as well as architectural and abstract forms including a frosted glass mountain with palace structures.
