Two Small Ceramic Teapots including a Yixing-Style Example
A group of two ceramic teapots of differing styles. The first is a dark-fired stoneware teapot of globular form, decorated with hand-painted polychrome enamelled floral motifs and foliage. The base bears an impressed rectangular mark reading MADE IN THAILAND. The second teapot is constructed from red clay in the Yixing style, featuring moulded relief decoration depicting dragons amongst clouds. It is designed with a zoomorphic spout and a lid surmounted by a mythical beast finial. The underside of the red clay teapot features an impressed square seal mark with Chinese characters.
