This wooden model represents a Falmouth Cornwall Oyster Boat, a traditional working vessel from the Fal Estuary. The construction features a painted hull finished in white and dark navy blue with natural wood decking and interior accents. The vessel is rigged with a single wooden mast supporting a gaff-rigged mainsail and jib. The sails are composed of tan and blue fabric with cord rigging. The model is mounted on an integrated wooden display stand which includes a brass-tone plaque inscribed with the text FALMOUTH OYSTER BOAT.
